Adorable Teddy

My Teddy had surgery on his left hind leg to mend a grade 4 Luxating patella at 10 months old, and a few months later developed the same condition on his left leg.
Although Ted recovered well and appeared to cope better with the condition in his right leg, I didn't realise he had learned to compensate for his condition and pain throughout his body, changing his gait and posture.
I learned this from Sarah, who started treating ted with canine massage therapy a couple of years later.  She took the time to explain where and why Ted was experiencing pain, with how she was massaging him and his behavioral reactions,
Sarah recorded his gait in slow motion videos before and after his treatments, so I could see the improvements.  At the end of the sessions, Sarah showed me ways I could help Ted in between sessions with various exercises to stretch his tightest muscles.
I find Sarah to be extremely knowledgeable and more than happy to pass this knowledge on so you can better understand your dog and how he's feeling.

Sarah is extremely friendly and patient with people and dogs!  Ted absolutely adores her and looks forward to his treatments when he sees her, now he's learned to associate Sarah with making him feel much more comfortable and happier in himself.

We have now started another course of regular treatments to prepare Ted for surgery on his right hind leg so the recovery process will be smoother and quicker, especially now he's a bit older and carrying a bit more weight.
Follow up  treatments post-surgery will also ensure he continues to heal and learn to move straight again, for the first time in years.

Thank you again Sarah for your great work with Teddy.

Sweetest Sara

Sarah did a wonderful job helping  my Sara get back into shape again after a wrist injury.  She has eased tensions and restrictions that I was not even aware she was housing, which became very apparent on how much livelier she was on her walks.
I find Sarah to be very professional, knowledgeable
with a friendly and caring manner, who has an undeniable passion for  your dog's well-being.
I would not hesitate in recommending  massage therapy for your dog,  as it is having a positive influence on how Sara is coping better with the inevitability of old age.

Gorgeous Millie

When Millie was spayed this year, we were very worried about how much pain she was in on the first few days after her operation.  Also she was quite anxious and jumpy.  We took her to see Sarah and she was able to settle her down right away in her cosy home, relaxing surroundings and soothing voice.  We could tell how relaxed Millie became very quickly, as she was almost asleep during the treatment.  Sarah gave us lots of advice on how to keep Millie calm and help her recovery.
We have taken her back again over the past few months for regular sessions as it has improved not only her physical condition but also her mental well being too.
We would highly recommend Sarah for all of your dogs needs whatever  they might be. She will find them and will help them.  She will also give you amazing advice in layman's terms so you can understand her and put them to practice when you get home.

Forever grateful, Dave , Sue &  Millie x

Handsome Charlie

I cannot thank Sarah enough for what she's done for Charlie and also myself.  My boy is only 8 years old but had started to look quite stiff  and was slowing down on our walks and he wasn't looking his happy self any more.  I knew he had a little Arthritis and I had taken it for granted that he was just aging gracefully.
When Sarah came to our house, she was so warm and friendly and put Charlie at ease straight away, in fact by the time she had left, she was his new best friend.
Sarah helped me understand  how Charlie housed some tensions and restrictions that he'd developed through the rigours of life.  After a course of  treatments and with some recommendations for his exercise and lifestyle routine, I am happy to inform that my chap is wagging his tail once more and once again enjoying his walks.
Sarah is seeing Charlie once a month now to help maintain his mobility.
I would highly recommend this service for a senior dog, as it not only has improved Charlie's quality of life but also mine.

Sweet adorable Poppy

I would not hesitate in recommending Sarah, she is compassionate, caring and shows so much respect for animals as well as their owners.
Our precious Poppy was left with brain damage after her mum attacked her litter at just 3 weeks old.  She is a little miracle and has survived years more than we had imagined possible.  She was so tiny and fragile that for weeks she was cradled in a breast pocket, which continues to be her most favorite place.
Sarah was recommended to me to see if massage therapy would help ease tension that she had  developed from the quirky gait and behaviors as a result of her brain damage.
Watching how Sarah handled Poppy was amazing,  Seeing how quickly she warmed to her, It wasn't long before Poppy found her perfect spot to ease her tensions.
Thank you again for your compassion and care.

Delicate Fly

Our rescue dog Fly was struggling settling at his new home.  It was heartbreaking to watch him so fearful of everything, even going in the garden.  He was so timid and we were so worried how he was going to react to Sarah. She was so gentle and very patient with him. She told us that dogs have choices and to let him come to her in his own time.  Watching Fly learn to trust her was really reassuring. He let her stroke him on the first session, by the second session he was lying next to her and excepted her touch.  As well as the massages he received, Sarah did some work in doors and out doors w ith him and designed daily physical and mental stimulation for us to do with him. He slept so long after his sessions with her, his anxiety reduced every day.
Watching him go from an anxious, nervous dog to racing around the garden was overwhelming.  Sarah has such a warm heart and has been there for us whenever we needed her.
Fly is still improving every day. Thank you for all your help.
Joan.

Playful Spaniel Sooty

________________

Sarah started treating my working cocker spaniel, Sooty, following my vet’s diagnosis of early onset arthritis. Sooty had developed various stresses in his body and an uneven gait. Sarah’s knowledge of canine massage and rehabilitation is extensive and the skill with which she puts this into practice is astounding. It is very interesting to listen to her describing her methods and to watch her work. The benefits to Sooty have been remarkable in just a few weeks and his response to her treating him has been total affection when she walks through the door! I would highly recommend Sarah.”
